ADHD ASSESSMENT CARE PACKAGE Fee: $850*

*This out-of-pocket fee must be paid in full before you proceed further to secure a booking for your initial appointment with a Mental Health Nurse.

You will incur these out-of-pocket expenses for services included in the CARE PACKAGE related to the 'mental health intake & screening' process. These fees are not covered by Private Health insurance and there is no further Medicare rebate. However, you must be registered for Medicare in Australia to be eligible for this package fee – otherwise you may be required to pay for all services in full (an additional $427.75).

Your ADHD Assessment CARE PACKAGE includes two separate appointments:

APPOINTMENT 1: MENTAL HEALTH INTAKE & SCREENING.
A 45-minute intake and screening session by one of Akkadian’s qualified mental health nurses for intake and pre-assessment. The mental health nurse will allocate and book your subsequent appointment with a treating psychiatrist.
APPOINTMENT 2: PSYCHIATRIC ASSESSMENT/DIAGNOSIS.
A 45-minute consultation assessment by a senior treating psychiatrists specialisting in ADHD. The senior psychatrist will provide a comprehensive report, management and treatment plan that is sent back to your GP. This appointment is bulk-billed by the senior psychiatrist when conducted as part of the ADHD Assessment Package.

Akkadian Health also offers the following services which are not included in this ADHD Assessment Care Package:

ONGOING THERAPY and SUPPORT is available through our Psychology and Mental Health clinician services.
This service includes specialised ADD/ADHD coaching to help you manage your diagnosed condition and minimise your reliance on medication over time.

Our Mental Health Nurse or Psychiatry Registrar will book your subsequent appointment with one of our Psychiatrists after your first appointment.
